In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), DAJAR protects the personal data of Customers obtained during the Store's activities.
In the privacy policy, we inform the Customer:
- Who is the controller of personal data
- What data is processed
- For what purpose and on what basis the data is processed
- How long the data will be stored
- What rights our customers have as data subjects
- To whom we share the data
- Personal Data Controller
The controller of personal data is DAJAR Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in 75-072 Koszalin, ul. Połtawska 6. The designated contact for the Data Protection Officer is the address [email protected]. This is the person who can be contacted in all matters related to the processing of personal data and the exercise of rights related to processing.
2. What data is processed
We process personal data provided by customers in the process of registering an account in the online store or when placing an order. These are first name, last name, address, delivery address, telephone number, email address. We also process:
- Data collected during activity on the website using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel.
- Data related to the product review process (if consent is given): information about the purchased product, date of purchase and content of the review.
3. For what purpose and on what basis the data is processed
- Order fulfillment: Data entrusted to us when placing an order may be processed for the purpose of its fulfillment (Art. 6 p.1b GDPR), we do not need the customer's consent for such processing.
- Own marketing: Such data may be used to conduct marketing and promotion of own goods and services (Art. 6 p.1f GDPR).
- Newsletter and registration: Data of a customer who has registered but has not placed an order, as well as data of customers who have decided to subscribe to our newsletter, are processed on the basis of consent (Art. 6 p.1a GDPR). Consent to data processing can be withdrawn at any time.
- Product review system: Based on the customer's explicit consent (Art. 6 sec. 1 lit. a GDPR), expressed by clicking the appropriate checkbox, we use the e-mail address to send a request and a reminder to post a review about the purchased product. The possibility of evaluation is limited in time to six months from the date of purchase. A review can be submitted via a link in the e-mail or in the "Orders" section of the customer's account.
4. How long the data will be stored
We process data until the basis for processing exists. In the case of consent, it is the time until the consent is withdrawn by the Customer. When it is data necessary for the performance of a contract (sales transaction), it is the storage time for accounting documents required by state authorities. In the event that the basis for processing is the legitimate interest of the controller, until an objection is filed.
5. What rights our Customers have
In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR), each of our Customers has the right to:
- Access their personal data
- Request rectification of data
- Deletion of data
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability
- Object to processing
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if the processing of personal data violates the regulations
6. To whom we share the data
Data may be shared with other entities for purposes:
- Related to the implementation of the purchase process (courier companies operating on the basis of postal law and other entities involved in the fulfillment of the order, with which DAJAR has concluded appropriate processing entrustment agreements)
- Payment processing by the payment operator (Adyen NV)
- Website traffic analysis (Google Ireland Limited)
- Optimization and personalization of advertisements (Google Ireland Limited, Meta Platforms Ireland Limited)
- Technical provision of the rating tool, we cooperate with the service provider Yotpo, Inc. (USA). We provide them with the first name, last name, e-mail address and information about the reviewed product to enable verification of the review.
Data transfer to the USA: The transfer of data to Yotpo in the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, within which Yotpo is certified, and additionally on standard EU contractual clauses. This guarantees an adequate level of data protection. More information: yotpo.com/privacy-policy/.
Publication of reviews: Reviews in the store are published with the first name and the first letter of the last name (or a nickname) in order to protect privacy.
