Steam-cooking is a healthy form of preparation of meals, which involves the heat treatment of food under the influence of steaming liquid. The advantages resulting from this method of food preparation include the preservation of greater quantities of valuable nutrients, flavour and aroma.
The classic nature of VIKOS pots is highlighted by the simple shape of the walls; whereas, the rounded shape of pot and glass lid handles break this gentle design. Thanks to such combination the pots gain an expressive nature.VIKOS pots are made of high quality stainless steel with wall thickness of 0,5 mmm. The multi-layer base ensures that the heat is evenly distributed which makes that the food cook faster which in turn translates to lesser power consumption and greater savings. As another advantage, there is a scale on the inside of the wall which makes measuring of the content easier. The glass lid is fitted with a vent releasing excess steam.
Vikos steam pot is a combination of two elements:
1. The pot water base which can be used as a single dish for conventional cooking, dimensions:
capacity 2L, inlet diameter 20cm, height 9cm.
Evaporator pot that can work with any other pot, dimensions:
capacity 1.5L, inlet diameter 20cm, height 9cm.
